I like to listen to various podcasts when I’m riding on the train or on a long drive. Great time to be entertained and maybe learn a few things. I was excited to find on my feed that Stuff You Should Know recently did a podcast episode about cats. They spend the hour talking about things like origin of cats as domestic animals, cat anatomy, cat behaviors, invention of cat litter, and more. Did you know cats have only been indoor pets for the past 50-60 years? Ever wonder why cats have whiskers or what’s special about their animated tails?

And if you prefer reading, this article “How Cats Work” from How Stuff Works covers some of the topics they discuss in the episode too.
